Anxiety/depression

Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?
A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you

Pecks - you're one of the few posters that give this site it's special charisma - keep your pecker up (bad pun 100% intentional).
If you've got any connection with Havering, try "Hope4Havering" (https://thebreweryromford.com/hope4havering/). You may have to gain access through the council office in the Liberty, but that's quite painless and can be a "same day solution".
You could end up being housed in any London borough depending on how the property availability goes.

I miss Gavros so much. He called me the week he popped clogs. TO BE HONEST I have been in the mental health system for 2 years no since my old dear died. 5 funerals last year, all army pals. I am cllose to the edge, got a myriad of tablets , take 16 a day, have done for 25 years, only to be told last week misdiagnosed and Im fucking from prescribed meds. Made a noose in my room. Chelsea the cunts are evicting me.
Thats me in the blue cap. I should be ashamed, but depression, killing people and people wanting to kill you puts shame on the back burner.
Been homeless once and can not bare it again.

Defjam and you lot our good good fellas, but who wants to know a suicidal maniac.
Only thing I live for is too leave a poem as some form of legacy.
A poem by David Peckham
BrainPAIN. I am not going to sugar-coat this and lie, The truth hurts, people do hang and die. Sticks and Stones may break my bones, BUT the pain is all in my head from when the cold hearted bastards shot my friend Fred dead. I have no fear of joining him, no fear of dying, I sit in darkness, shaking, trembling and crying. All I can hear is Fred gasping his last breathes,
He is whispering, fighting death, all I hear is over and over – Down the eyes of a spear do not fuck with an Infanteer. Down the eye of a spear, do not fuck with an Infanteer.
For on this lonely road, I learn to see, The beauty in the stillness, the mystery. A journey of self, both dark and bright LIKE a shining Knight, As I walk alone, into the endless fight. And though the road may seem long and cold,l will keep on walking, bold and bold. For in the loneliness, I find my way, On this winding path, where dreams hold sway.
DAVID PECKHAM 2024. ENTITLED HAVE FUN GRAB A GUN. LA BONITA FÁBRICA DE SUEÑOS A shit HOT BOOK OF POEMS.

The fist symptoms I had for bad aids was I thought was a full on stroke and so did the ambulance crew and the neurologist .I was working in Singapore at the time. I started getting anxiety attacks because I thought I could feel another stroke coming one in Changi (Singapore airport) I went into the medical room and they clamed me down
I had clopidogrel as well its a heavy duty blood thinner you find you will bruise unexplainedly from the slightest knock

Debs, my late Dad passed last year 90 RIP, he had heart issues for 25 yrs, he lived 60 miles away, I was ordering his list of about a dozen monthly medication by app on my phone and getting it delivered by his local pharmacy. I learned about his medication.
Warfarin (diluted rat poison) Anticoagulant blood thinner to stop thrombosis blood clots causing heart attacks and strokes. Very effective used 60 yrs in UK. Although blood has to be constantly monitored with clinic appointments. Dad was on this for 20 years.
Apixaban Dad was happy with this new technology blood thinner drug for last 5 years as no hospital trips to regulate and seemed to work the same.
There are other anticoagulants Dabigatran, rivaroxaban and edoxaban I believe but no experience of these? Best to ask your GP the differences.
His GP said the drugs were keeping him going. He was a smoker gave it up when diagnosed, but damage done, succumbed to lung cancer.
You'll be fine if you take anticoagulants is my guess, but will have to keep taking them for life. All the best.

Mike the consultant I saw today told me to carry on taking them. Oddly though I have none of the common contributory factors Don't smoke, have good blood pressure and low cholesterol. .

Debs, you may be put on blood thinners if they feel you are at risk of a (life-threatening) clot.
I was put on them following a routine (TB) x-ray while working in the middle east - they seem, like my hypertension tablets, to be a "rest of my life" medication solution, but they are kept under very strict management. Takes a while to match the correct dose to your lifestyle though.
You should be able to live a less stressful life if that is the case.

Hope all goes well for you Debs despite any heated discussions we may of had of late, on a lighter note I went for years wondering why Jamaican’s thought calling someone a ‘blood clot’ was abusive…..the silly git I am…..

D, I’m sure my brother had something like this . The main thing is they will keep an eye on you and I think you will find that your anxiety will lessen and in time you will slowly feel better . You’ll be okay .

I.mentioned a while back.that I had to.have an MRI which I did. Took.a fair while to get the result and my consultants appointment got postponed so assumed there was no problem.snd nothing had come up. An incorrect assumption as it turned out as the MRI showed evidence I'd had a blood clot on the right side of my brain resulting in a subacute stroke. My anxiety has been through the roof since especially since headaches and numbness still haven't gone.
Bloody horrible feeling you have a potential time bomb in your head. Been.put on blood thinners but still properly anxious...
